Dr. Isioma Okobah is a board-certified physician in family medicine who has served the greater Atlanta community for almost two decades. She graduated from University of Benin College of Medical Sciences, Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and completed her residency in family medicine at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Okobah opened First Lithonia Medical Center in 2006, where she treats from newborns geriatrics. When she is not treating patients, she acts as the founder of her non-profit organization the Dr. Isioma Okobah Foundation. Optimal health coverage and preventive care for EVERYONE is something Dr. Okobah has actively been pursuing her entire career. She strongly believes in the future of medicine, so she frequently lends her expertise as an adjunct faculty at the Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Okobah is an advocate for routine immunizations.

Pleased! So far, I’ve found what I’m looking for at First Lithonia Medical Center. Dr. Okobah is my new physician. She is personable, caring and professional. After several appts with doctors in the area, I decided to stay with Doctor Isioma Okobah. I found it hard to find good, quality care in my area. Her office is impeccably clean, the staff is warm and friendly, not nice nasty like some in the area. My care was thorough and timely. No more waiting for 45 mins to an hour to be seen. Dr Okobah has been my doctor since middle school and I’m 22 now. I trust her 100% with any concerns I may have. I miss the old staff because they’ve been there since before I started visiting and I’ve never had a problem with the receptionist. Every time I would go she’s joke around with me. I was sad my last visit to see so many new face I’ve gotten comfortable over the years with the entire office staff. Also I wish that I could see the doc (Dr.Okobah) because there’s a new doc there now in her absence. I found myself being a little more private with the new Doc. But overall I recommend this place 100%

I love Dr. Okabah, she is great with my kids and knows they’re names, which means they are not just patients to her. My oldest, who is now 19 years old has been going to Dr. Okabah since she was 6 years old and my youngest, who is 9 years old, since she was a newborn. My older sister and niece go here as well. I’ve never had any complaints, the staff are very friendly and professional. My questions and concerns are always answered before leaving. Dr. Okabah and her staff really know how to deal with kids very well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I love First Lithonia Medical Center.
